In October 2025, PathAI introduced Annotation Insights for AISight, its RUO digital pathology platform. Annotation Insights enables users to draw regions of interest and instantly view results from supported AI algorithms in real time. This enables pathologists to quickly receive quantifications on certain areas of a slide, and reduce the burden of repetitive counting tasks.
High Level Workflow Overview
- Review AI algorithm outputs (e.g. Percentage of Ki-67+ cells)
- Draw regions of interest directly in the slide viewer to focus analysis on specific tissue areas - supported algorithms will display outputs appear in the annotation panel
- Get real time calculations on selected regions to speed up manual counting tasks
- Support time-consuming assessments such as tumor sufficiency for NGS and IHC scoring like Ki-67, and more
