PathAI Expands AISight® Dx with the v2.19 Release: Enhancing Flexibility, Collaboration, Reporting and Workflow Precision

We're thrilled to announce the release of AISight® Dx1 v2.19, the latest update to PathAI's FDA-cleared digital pathology image management system. This release introduces expanded ingestion flexibility, enhanced collaboration tools, improved reporting capabilities, and powerful new platform controls, including seamless support for running multiple algorithms on a single slide and self-service management of Algorithm Impressions.

Featured Platform Enhancements

  • Multi-Algorithm Support per Slide
The platform now supports running multiple algorithms on a single slide, a significant expansion of core platform capability.

  • Updated Navigation for Algorithm Outputs
To keep navigation intuitive as algorithm outputs scale, key areas of the user interface have been updated to accommodate the increased volume of results from multi-algorithm workflows.

  • Flexible Slide Tray Organization
Labs can now choose how slides are grouped in the slide tray. When the relevant data elements are available, slides can be organized by Specimen and Block - or labs can retain their existing slide ID-based organization model.

  • Self-Service Algorithm Impressions

Users can now create and manage their Algorithm Impressions directly within the Lab Configurations page, providing laboratories with greater flexibility and control over platform setup and ongoing workflow management.

Ingestion Flexibility

  • Unassigned Slide Support
AISight Dx can now ingest and process whole slide images even when key metadata fields (patient ID, accession ID, or date of birth) are missing. Unassigned slides appear immediately in the Accessions Dashboard and Slide Library, and authorized users can assign them to existing or newly created accessions to reduce workflow interruptions.

Collaboration Enhancements

  • Expanded Guest Sharing
Guest sharing is no longer limited to the accession level. Provisioned users can now generate temporary, de-identified guest links for folders of slides, manually selected cohorts, or individual slides within an accession - supporting more flexible consultation and collaboration.

Reporting Improvements

  • Specimen-Level Report Templates
Report templates now support specimen-level fields in addition to accession-level fields, allowing laboratories to accommodate both data structures within structured reports.

Queue & Workflow Improvements

  • Add a single slide to a queue without adding the full accession

  • Rename alignments directly from the slide information panel

Slide Library Improvements

  • Sort by Specimen or Specimen Type

  • Filter by the configurable Origin Site field

  • Modify visible columns

  • Search for folders and bulk exports by name

  • View a count of selected slides in the header

Notifications & Help

  • Automated email notifications have been refreshed with updated visuals and clearer copy across key platform events.

  • Current release notes are now permanently accessible on the Help page.

  • Slides and algorithms now display intended-use tags: IVD, SUP, or RUO.

User - Level Configurations

  • Additional keyboard shortcuts can now be configured to support faster navigation through annotations, fields, and queue items.

Organization-Level Configurations

  • Secondary reviewer assignment directly from the Slide Viewer

  • LIS snapshot file type control to ensure compatibility with supported formats

  • Automatic hiding of older cases after a configurable number of days

  • Option to disable case assignment editing while continuing to display LIS-sourced values

AISight Dx v2.19 reflects PathAI's ongoing commitment to delivering a flexible, configurable, and pathologist-centric digital pathology platform. By strengthening ingestion resilience, expanding collaboration tools, and enabling advanced algorithm orchestration and workflow control, PathAI continues to evolve AISight Dx to meet the operational needs of modern laboratories.

1 AISight Dx is FDA-cleared for primary diagnosis in the US and CE-IVD marked for primary diagnosis in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.
