The study was presented by Dr. Pedro Ferrari at the 2025 AACR AI and Machine Learning Special Conference in Cancer Research in Montreal. This study of 100 breast cancer samples using the PathAI AIM-HER2 algorithm found that pathologist interobserver agreement is correlated with HER2 heterogeneity as measured by AI, with higher rates of agreement associated with lower HER2 heterogeneity.
