What You'll Do

This role will be responsible for driving the Biopharma business unit’s top strategic priorities, including scoping and managing special projects to enable sustainable growth in our Biopharma business as well as building and iterating on scalable operational processes that facilitate excellence in execution against our business priorities, and robust decision-making in key strategic decisions. The Biopharma Strategy and Operations Lead will report to the VP of Biopharma Business Operations & Strategy, and work closely with a diverse set of cross-functional stakeholders, including Biopharma Partnerships, Biopharma Lab, Product, Finance, and Marketing. Specifically, this role will:

• Identify, scope, and execute strategic projects against our Biopharma priorities and growth objectives in partnership with the Biopharma Leadership Team
• Structure and execute research and analyses to enable data-backed decision-making 
• Support the development of new tools, processes, and resources for the Biopharma team to enable execution against business goals 
• Serve as a thought and accountability partner to cross-functional initiatives, and track progress against BU and corporate OKRs
• Support annual strategic planning (e.g., prioritization and allocation of resourcing, identifying and scoping annual strategic imperatives, assessing biopharma business performance against financial and operational goals)
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline, initiate, and/or uplevel company processes for planning, coordination, and decision-making  
• Create executive-level communications (including presentations and reports) to secure buy-in of strategic recommendations and ensure cross-functional alignment and coordination against execution of major BU/company-level projects

• Industry insider: have a working knowledge of the life sciences landscape, and excited to work at the intersection of life sciences and AI/ML

Nice-to-have:

• Experience working in a top-tier management consulting firm, with significant project work in the life sciences industry
• Direct knowledge of drug discovery, drug development, and/or diagnostics 
• Experience working in an earlier stage company 

While most PathAI employees are based in the Boston area, we are open to remote work for this position.
