Senior Technical Program Manager - AI/ML

Description of Role: 

We're looking for an experienced program manager to join our team and help support the execution of PathAI’s product initiatives. The Senior TPM, AI/ML will work closely with product management, machine learning, data management, quality, regulatory, and business operations teams to ensure that machine learning development goals & timelines are met for successful delivery of a product. The successful candidate will be able to design, implement, and manage critical processes necessary to develop AI/ML capabilities in key strategic areas for PathAI. 

This role offers the opportunity to help define the tools and processes for developing machine learning-based products as part of a fast growing, dynamic business.

This role reports to the VP of Machine Learning.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with product and ML leadership to define and refine our processes for identifying, prioritizing, and resourcing machine learning efforts.
  • Partner with ML engineers and scientists to define and refine our development processes for individual products and platform components.
  • Adopt tools and processes to improve ML engineering productivity.
  • Drive project timelines, issue escalation, and cross-functional communication.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, deliverables, resources, dependencies, and constraints while focusing on timely delivery.

 

What you’ll need:  

  • 5+ years experience in technical program management
  • Launch experience for software-based products and platforms, ML or data science experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of program management concepts and practices
  • Strong written & oral communication skills across disciplines and seniority
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred
  • Ability to exercise technical judgment in solving machine learning challenges
  • Experience with agile software development processes preferred
