F. David Osborn, MD

About
Dr. Osborn received his medical education at the University of Tennessee Health
Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. After completing a Transitional
Internship at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in
Knoxville, Tennessee, he returned to Memphis and completed a residency in
Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Tennessee / Baptist
Memorial Hospital.
After residency, he joined the University of Tennessee Department of Pathology as an instructor and surgical pathology fellow, and in 2000 Dr. Osborn became assistant professor and director of the residency program in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He left two years later to begin a one year fellowship in Gastrointestinal Pathology at GI Pathology Partners, PLLC. He joined Poplar Healthcare, now PathAI Diagnostics, in 2003. Although the main focus of his practice is gastrointestinal pathology, he also has keen interests in surgical pathology and gynecologic pathology.
