C. Michael Choi, MD
Director of Genitourinary Pathology
Dr. Choi is a nationally recognized geniturinary pathologist with over 30 years of experience in the field. He received his medical degree from Catholic Medical College in Seoul, South Korea, after which he trained in anatomic and clinical pathology at the MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he completed his residency program and fellowships in anatomical pathology, cytopathology, and hematopathology. Dr. Choi is board certified in both anatomic pathology and cytopathology.
Prior to joining PathAI Diagnostics, Dr. Choi was Director of Cytology at OUR Lab in Nashville, Tennessee. He also served as Laboratory Director at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon, Ohio for eight years, and as the Head of Cytopathology at OncoDiagnostic Laboratory, Inc., Cleveland, Ohio for six years. Prior to those roles, Dr. Choi was the Director of Cytopathology and Hematopathology at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and a clinical associate professor at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Athens.
Dr. Choi is a member of the College of American Pathologists, American Society of Clinical Pathology, American Society of Cytopathology and American Medical Association.
